Well, the count down is near, and if you are like me you, still have quite a few of your favorite people to shop for. Actually, this is one of my favorite parts of Christmas, I love finding the perfect gift for someone. It is such a joy to see them open a gift that was so obviously bought with them in mind. It is not always easy! (And sometimes it happens in June!) but I have some favorite shops around B'ham that always seem to offer the perfect gifts for the peeps on my "nice" list! I also almost always try and buy locally made products whenever possible. It somehow seems more personable, being handmade, even if it is not by my own hand (a good thing!). And of course, we have so many talented artists and crafts people right here that there is no need to look any further than our own backyard! Here then is a list of some of my favorite shops. I am sure there are many I am not aware of, so please share your favorite's with me!
Thanks, and happy shopping!
